Robert R. Chaney

October 6, 1930 — March 5, 2003

Robert R. Chaney, 72 of North Fifth St. died Wednesday at home. He was born in Fremont to Joseph and Mildred (Carter) Chaney and they are deceased. Mr. Chaney graduated from Ross High School in 1948 and worked with his father at Chaney Brothers Furnace Co. from 1948 until 1960. He then was a production worker at Crown Rubber and then worked for Ludlum Composites. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, a lifemember of the NRA, a lifemember of the Fremont Eagles and the Moose Lodge in Warren, PA. Surviving is a brother, Joseph Chaney of Toledo, nieces and nephews and many close, caring friends. He is preceded by sister, Irene Secrist.
