Jack R. Bass

Jack R. Bass, 75, of Collinwood Ave., Fremont, died peacefully at his home Saturday evening. Jack was born in Port Clinton to Ernest and Alice (Duby) Bass. He married Kathryn Willis Aug. 21, 1978 and she survives. Surviving are daughters Deborah Gardner and Pamela Warfield; sister, Shirley (William) Shortridge and brother-in-law, Keith Zwerman; niece and caregiver, Jerilynn Sharp; four grandchildlren and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ida Zwerman, Helen Shively and Doris Beckley and brother, Ernest Jr. Visitation was held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services were held on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial was at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
