Ruby Conley

Ruby Conley, 79 of Gibsonburg died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at her home. She was born on November 17, 1929 in Grayson, KY to Charles & May (Conley) Hall. She married Ray Conley on March 17, 1955 in Gibsonburg and he preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage on June 6, 2007. Ruby was a housewife and enjoyed cooking, gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children; Barbara (Denny) Flahiff, Steve Conley all of Gibsonburg, and Gary (Carol) Conley of Tiffin. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister; Bertha (Calvin) Mull of Woodville and a brother; Bill (Phyllis) Hall of Hitchins, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Kenneth Ray; grandson, Nicholas Conley; sister; Dolly Porter; brothers, George Hall and Less Bryant.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg from 11-1PM with funeral services beginning at 1 PM with Pastor Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
