Howard Bert Crispen

Howard Bert Crispen, 71, of Fremont, died late Friday evening at the Toledo Hospital. He was born in Gibsonburg to Bert and Nora (Saam) Crispen. Surviving are his children, John Crispen and Susan Crispen, both of Fremont and Marcia Crispen of Clyde; sisters, Naomi Ward, Marvel "Sid" (Bill) Hampsher of Fremont, Wilma "Peg" Scott of Bowling Green and Brenda Hostottle of Bradner; brothers, Roy "Whitey" Crispen of Gibsonburg and Marvin "Baldy" (Karen) Crispen of Lindsey; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and special friend, Lori Elmer of Genoa. Preceding Howard are his parents, brother, Harold Crispen and daughter, Cheryl Link. Visitation was held on Monday, March 8th and services held on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Clink. Burial was at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
