Charles E. Fires

Charles E. Fires, 83 of Findlay died Thursday afternoon at Fox Run Manor. He was born on December 2, 1920 to the late Louis and Lucille (Taylor) Fires in Waynesville, Ohio. Charlie married Edna "Lee" Friend on May 13, 1945 in San Diego, CA and she survives. Also surviving are sons, Richard (Jane) Fires of Grand Haven, MI and Robert (Judy) Fires of Springfield, OH; 3 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Doris Harley. Visitation was held on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the Assembly of God Church, Findlay with funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont.
