Jake Mercer

Jake Mercer, 92, of Fremont died Friday morning at Countryside Continuing Care Center. He was born in Steubenville to the now-deceased Ernest and Mollie (Morrow) Mercer. He is survived by daughter, Virginia (Irvin) Mittan of Fremont; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Evans. He is preceded by his parents and sister, Eunice Mercer. Visitation was held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont. Services were held on Monday at the funeral home. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery.
