Norma Rose Smith

Norma Rose Smith, 88, a native of Gibsonburg, died Thursday in Lenoir, NC. She was born to Edith (O'Neil) and Ralph Baumer and married Harold W. Smith on April 25, 1940 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gibsonburg. She is survived by daughter, Rosemary (Richard) Marlowe of Lenoir; grandson, Brian Marlowe and great-grandson, Jacob Marlowe of Winston Salem, NC. Norma is preceded by her parents, husband, son, Wade F. Smith and sister, Lula (Friend) Davies. Visitation was held on Tuesday and a funeral mass held on Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Gibsonburg. Burial was in West Union Cemetery.
