Virginia Catherine Spanfellner

Virginia Catherine Spanfellner, 89, formerly of Lindsey, died March 1 at Rutherford House Assisted Living, Fremont. She was born in Tiffin to Harvey and Mary (Kime) Jackson. She married Joseph Spanfellner on Jan. 10, 1936 in Fremont and was a homemaker. She is survived by son, William (Penny) Spanfellner of Berea; daughter, Elaine (Lyman) Crawfoot of Gibsonburg; sisters, Mae McBride of Toledo and Betty Williams of Bay City, MI; four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, husband, brother, Clifford Jackson and a grandson. Services and burial were private.
