Nicole Marie Oswald

Nicole "Nikki" Marie (Shammo) Oswald, 31 of Cleveland, died on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic, after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was born on July 14, 1981 in Fremont to James and Cathy (Olmstead) Shammo. Nikki was a 1999 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. On December 11, 2004 she married William "Jason" Oswald and he survives. Also surviving are her parents of Gibsonburg; children, Madison, Elizabeth and Alena; siblings, Jessica (Andrew) Morrison and Cody Shammo; maternal grandmother, Betty Olmstead; father-in-law, William Oswald; mother in law, Debra Oswald; sister in law, Christie (David) Filas. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Memorials may be made to Nikki's Fight for Life c/o any family member, in the hopes of providing for her children and finding a cure for CF.
