Elmer Elkins

Elmer Ernest Elkins, Jr., age 61, of Fremont, passed away on Sun., Nov. 8, 2015 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. Born on Aug. 14, 1954 in Fremont, he was a son of Elmer E. & Ila Jean (Rohm) Elkins, Sr. On July 24, 2010, Elmer married Sheryl Ptacek in Fremont; she survives him. Also surviving are three children; two step-children; 6 siblings; and several grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents; 3 siblings; and a beloved pet cat. A Memorial Service will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont on a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the care of the family to be used towards funeral expenses.
