Robert J. Lauer, 79, passed away on Mon., Dec. 14, 2015 surrounded by family. He was born on April 1, 1936.
Robert served in the U.S. Army. He then worked at Union Carbide.
On Nov. 9, 1958, Robert married Wanda Owens in Fremont; she survives him. Also surviving is daughter, Peggy (Jeff) Rowe of New Haven; grandchildren, Adam, Andy, and Monica Herrera; and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by son, Johnny Lee.
Funeral Services will be on Fri. Dec. 18, 12 p.m., at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont; where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood.
