Ijar Darden

Ijar D. Darden, 40, of Fremont, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 25, 1977 in Laurel, MS to Ambrose & Annice (Musgrove) Darden Jr.

Ijar graduated from West Jones High School and continued his education at Terra State Community College. He worked as an operator at Revere Plastics. Ijar enjoyed watching football and boxing.

On March 1, 2002 he married Tomekia Morrisette in Fremont; she survives. Also surviving are children, Anysha and Aja Darden; mother, Annice Darden; and siblings, Teasha Darden of Fremont, Ambrose Darden of Toledo and Xavier Darden of Franklin, TN.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Close family and friends will be welcomed on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont from 12-1 p.m. where a Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. Pastor CJ Burel will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to his children in care of Tomekia Darden.
