Shirley Eileen Weaver

Shirley Eileen Weaver, 80, of Fremont died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Valley View Health Campus, Fremont. She was born in Fremont on July 17, 1937 to Paul and Vivian (Hudson) Smith.

Shirley was a 1955 Fremont Ross High School graduate. On February 2, 1957, she married her husband of 61 years, Jim Weaver, in Fremont. She was a member of the Fremont Alliance Church.  Shirley worked 38 years at Sunrise Cooperative, retiring in 2007.

Surviving is her husband, Jim Weaver of Fremont; along with three children, Peggy (David) Meyer of East Aurora, NY, Connie (Joe) Quaintance, and Mark (Deanna) Weaver all of Fremont; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Yvonne Smith; and brother-in-law Jack (Sandy) Weaver.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Sally Romaine, Clifton Smith and Kenneth Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 11 a.m., at Fremont Alliance Church, 936 N. Brush Street, Fremont, where Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Glenn Merrill will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in Shirley’s honor to the Fremont Alliance Church building fund, Fremont United Way Cancer Fund or to ProMedica Hospice.  Shirley's family would like to thank ProMedica Hospice for her care and for all their prayers.
