Beverly A. Boedecker

Beverly A. Boedecker, 85, of Gibsonburg, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Valley View, Fremont. She was born on January 23, 1933 in Bowling Green to Harold & Florence (Schaufler) Plowright.

Beverly graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1951 and attended Tiffin University in 1953.  Mrs. Boedecker was a homemaker. She married Jack Boedecker on April 7, 1956.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; a member of Tiffin OES of which she was a past Matron. Beverly also was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary of which she was a past treasurer.

Surviving are sons, Douglas (Elizabeth) Boedecker and Jack Boedecker, both of Lindsey; and daughter, Julie (Michael) Rudinoff of Gibsonburg. Also surviving are grandchildren, Alexzandra Rudinoff, Andrea Boedecker and John Boedecker; and siblings, Shirley Fork of Gibsonburg.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents; and siblings, Merle Plowright, Ardinelle Gill, Carolyn Schlea and Betty Shinabery. 

Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. During the visitation hours The Order of the Eastern Star will hold a service for Beverly at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. where there will be an additional hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Max Ulderich will officiate, and burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.
