Kristina Hirt

Kristina Hirt, 32, of Vickery, Ohio, passed away at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio on Monday, July 16th, 2018. She was born on September 30, 1985, in Shelby, Ohio. Kristina is survived by her soulmate and wife, Katie, and their four beautiful children: Chase, Karlie, Coby, and Cohen; her mothers, Lori and Julie Elliott; her father, Rock Merritt, father-in-law, John Hirt; mother-in-law, Deb Lohrbach; grandparents, Barbara and Charles Elliott of Shelby, Ohio; grandmother Patricia McNeill, of London, England; sister and brother-in-law, Katie Merritt and Justin Collins; sister, Kasie Kissel; brother, Marcus Kissel; and many more family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, David Merritt; her aunt, Pam Merritt; and her daughter, Faith. Kristina adored spending time with her wife and children, their many pets, friends, and extended families. In May of 2017, she recognized her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse when she graduated summa cum laude from Terra State Community College at the top of her class. Her bright spirit and generous heart will be celebrated by friends and family Saturday, July 21 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Coon Creek Country Club, 1589 OH-510, Vickery, Ohio. There will be a service led by Pastor Franke at 3 p.m.
