Robert D. Holcomb

Rob Holcomb was called to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 after a 6-1/2 year courageous battle with traumatic brain injury, liver failure and cancer.  Rob was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 8, 1964 to parents, Garrett and Linda Holcomb. 

Rob is survived by his parents; his daughter, Lindsay (Isaac) Shank; identical twin grandsons, Grayson and Deacon Shank and new grandson, Kooper Shank; brother, Todd (Sandra) Holcomb; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved dog “Bella”. 

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Holcomb and Lloyd and May Siferd.  

Rob was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, in Port Clinton, where he served as a deacon and church custodian.  The Reverend Doctor Kurt W. Borows will officiate at a private graveside service at a later date.  

The family would like to express their sincere thank you to the members of ProMedica Hospice and the nurses in ICU at Memorial Hospital in Fremont for their compassion and care during Rob’s end of life. 

Rob requested any memorials be sent to Resurrection Lutheran Church (2370 N.E. Catawba Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio) for the Building Fund.
