Michael Yaros

Burgoon- Michael John “Butch” Yaros, 79, passed away on September 12, 2018. He was born on November 18, 1938 in Fremont to the late Michael S. and Mildred M. (Cottier) Yaros.

Butch was an Old Fort High School graduate. He worked for Moore Business Forms in Fremont, and previously for R.F. Wolfe.

On November 5, 1971, he married Lucille Marie Gerwin in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Together they raised four children. In his spare time Butch enjoyed being outside to take care of his yard, spending time with his family, and watching WWII and Western movies.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille; children, Anne (Neal Smith) Frederick of Bowling Green, Sue Naugle of Tiffin, Julie Karn of Fremont, and James Yaros of Burgoon; grandchildren, Hazel and Lucie Smith, Madison and Greta Naugle, and Amanda and Sydney Karn; and siblings, Robert and Raymond Yaros. He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, and many great friends.

A graveside service for the family will be held on October 12, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Smith Cemetery, Burgoon.
