Charlotte Schumaker

Gibsonburg- Charlotte Schumaker, 65, passed away at her home on Wed., Oct. 3, 2018. She was born in Pennsylvania to the late George and Margaret (Barvinchak) Chernisky on Nov. 20, 1952.

She was a Rossford High School graduate. On May 28, 1988, she married Andy Schumaker at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Gibsonburg. Together they raised their two children. Charlotte was lucky enough to be a homemaker, which was the most meaningful job to her as she lived for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, finishing a craft, or reading a good book. She was also a member of St. Michael’s Parish.

Surviving is her husband, Andy; children, Brittany (Mike Kryling) Schumaker of Woodville and Anthony (Katrina Wilhelm) Schumaker of Perrysburg; and siblings, Marilyn Toska of Maumee, Greg (Pam) Chernisky of Rossford, Mark (Ruth) Chernisky of Toledo, and Diane (Ralph) Hahn of Holland.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family will be welcomed to the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Wed., Oct. 10, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. A Mass

of Christian Burial will be held Thurs., Oct. 11th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Gibsonburg. Fr. Scott Woods will officiate, and burial will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
